went for dinner tonight, there was a crazy flow of people during queen’s yard festival, but the owners were so lovely despite the madness, and the food was amazing! will definitely be back!

Beautiful delicate and delicious food. Friendly and cosy vibes. We got a selection of small plates and loved all of them. Spacious and well considered layout with nice furniture, feels like a lot of thought has gone into the look and feel of the place and it carries through into the food and drink offerings, which are both interesting and accessible. It’s clear that time and care has gone into selecting good quality produce as well as a healthy range of organic wines. Easily the best place in Hackney Wick for a special foodie night out without being too expensive in my opinion. Will definitely be back to try out their brunch.

A secret gem of Hackney. The vibe, the food, the staff, the wine - everything is flawless. We ordered nearly everything on the menu and each bite was better than the previous one. Clare and Nina work tirelessly to make this one of my favourite dinning experience. They are both so attentive, kind and run this show amazingly well. I already can't wait to go back there.

Really lovely dinner experience! The food was delicate yet comforting. You can sense a lot of thought has gone into the flavour pairings and we were happy to try some ingredients we hadn't heard of before, for example a date molasses in one of the desserts :p . We shared a few dishes which were timed to come out throughout the evening. This, along with the soft interior design and great service, made our night feel laid-back and sophisticated at the same time. Excited to come back to this new local spot many times in the future :)

I booked a table for 10 guests, preordered the menu selection as requested... (helps the chef, no waste, etc..)... We had a superb meal, attentive and knowledgeable service. The passion for cooking with warm hospitality ensures that my partner and I will return. Thank you for a memorable meal.

A fantastic restaurant! The chef is not only incredibly talented but also very friendly, making the whole experience even more special. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The waitress was warm, welcoming, and always had a bright smile. To top it off, we were treated to a wonderful jazz performance with live piano and drums, adding to the cozy and lively atmosphere. I highly recommend this place!

Absolutely lovely! The food was all delicious and I liked the style of sharing everything and things coming as they were ready, it meant that you could really focus on every dish, everything was fresh and different, and it made for a brilliant social atmosphere. Particularly loved the anchovy toasts and the MushMush cocktail

The flavours in each dish made us stop and say “wow”, it’s clear how high quality the produce is. We chose: bread & olive oil, onion squash, duck confit & dauphinoise, smoked pork shoulder, the kale beetroot salad(!!!) Dishes we didn’t know could taste so good. The portions aren’t big so you are recommended 5 plates between 2 people which didn’t leave us totally full, so we finished off with an amazing fig, truffle and cheese hot dessert which scratches the itch of a sweet and cheese finisher (photo) and definitely left us ready to sleep after that. The chef was so sweet and friendly, as was the server, they made the whole experience even more rewarding and I hope business goes well for them as it was quiet while we were there as the produce is such high quality it’s not going to be a “cheap” meal, so the price was what we’d expect and be happy to pay for such a great taste experience. We also had two rose wines each by the glass which we enjoyed.
